What NoChargeback reads from Shopify
-
Orders, with line items, totals, discounts, payment gateway and the risk analysis Shopify attaches.
-
Fulfillments, with carrier, tracking number, ship date and delivery status.
-
Customers, with billing and shipping addresses, contact details and the full order history.
-
Transactions on the order, including card verification results where the gateway reports them.
-
Your published store policies for refunds, returns and shipping.
-
Order timeline notes and customer emails you choose to include as communication.
Permissions for the Shopify connection
You install NoChargeback on your store and approve the access scopes Shopify shows on the install screen. We ask for read access to orders, fulfillments, customers and order history, read access to Shopify Payments disputes, and write access only to dispute evidence. We do not request permission to create refunds, edit orders, change payouts or access your Shopify balance, so the app cannot refund an order or move money. You can uninstall at any time from your Shopify admin. Storage and access logs are described on the security page.
Which Shopify dispute data we ingest
-
Shopify Payments chargebacks, with the reason, amount, status and the date evidence is due.
-
Shopify Payments inquiries, where the bank asks for information before deciding whether to file a chargeback.
-
The order, fulfillment and tracking data behind each disputed payment, matched automatically.
-
Customer and order history, so repeat buyers with earlier undisputed orders are easy to show.
Disputes on orders paid through a third party gateway are handled by that gateway, not by Shopify. If you use PayPal or Stripe on the same store, connect those accounts too on Growth or higher, and NoChargeback links the dispute back to the Shopify order.
Shopify dispute evidence we prepare
Shopify groups dispute evidence into a set of sections, and NoChargeback fills each one that applies to the reason. Field names in the Shopify admin can change over time, so we describe them by purpose.
| Evidence field | What we put there |
|---|---|
| Customer details | Name, email, billing address and the address verification result |
| Shipping and fulfillment | Carrier, tracking number, ship date, delivery confirmation and shipping address |
| Cancellation policy | Your cancellation terms and where the customer saw them |
| Refund policy | Your refund and return terms with the refusal explanation when no refund applies |
| Customer communication | Emails and messages about the order |
| Product description | What was sold, variant details and how it was delivered |
| Uncategorized text | The drafted rebuttal letter matched to the dispute reason |
| Files | Receipt, delivery proof, policy screenshots and order timeline as documents |

1
Step one, create your account
Choose a plan on the pricing page and finish checkout.
-
2
Step two, install on your store
Enter your store domain, review the scopes on the Shopify install screen and approve them.
-
3
Step three, review open disputes
NoChargeback imports open Shopify Payments disputes and inquiries, drafts evidence for each and shows the time left. Edit anything, add files and choose email or Slack alerts.
How the deadline countdown and submission work
Each Shopify chargeback shows its evidence due date with a live countdown. Evidence stays as a draft until it is submitted, because Shopify sends one response to the bank. On Growth and higher plans automatic submission is on, by default 48 hours before the due date, and you can change the window or pause it per dispute. On Starter you submit manually with one click.
Plan availability for Shopify
Shopify is available on every plan. Starter connects 1 account, which can be your Shopify store. Growth connects up to 5 accounts across Stripe, Shopify, PayPal and Braintree, which suits merchants with several stores. Scale connects 20 and Enterprise 100. Compare everything on all integrations.
Is NoChargeback a Shopify chargeback app for Shopify Payments only?
It reads disputes from Shopify Payments directly. Disputes from other gateways on your store come through those gateways, so connect Stripe, PayPal or Braintree as extra accounts and we link them to the Shopify order.
Can the app refund orders in my Shopify store?
No. NoChargeback asks for read access plus dispute evidence write only. It cannot create refunds, edit orders or touch payouts.
Does it work with several Shopify stores?
Yes. Each store is one connected account. Growth connects up to 5 accounts and Scale up to 20, all in one dashboard with shared alerts and analytics.
