What NoChargeback reads from Stripe
-
Charges and payment intents, including 3D Secure outcome, AVS and CVC checks, card country and the customer IP where Stripe records it.
-
Customers, with billing and shipping details and earlier payments on the same customer.
-
Invoices and subscriptions, so renewals, cancellations and trial ends show up in the evidence timeline.
-
Early fraud warnings from Stripe Radar, linked to the charge they concern.
-
Balance transactions for dispute fees and withdrawn amounts, used in your loss reporting.
-
Disputes themselves, including the reason, the network reason code and the evidence due date.
Permissions for the Stripe connection
You connect through Stripe Connect OAuth or by pasting a restricted API key. With a restricted key you choose each permission yourself, and we ask for read on charges, payment intents, customers, invoices, subscriptions, early fraud warnings and balance transactions, and write only on disputes. We never request refunds, charges, payouts or transfers. NoChargeback cannot refund an order, create a charge or move money out of your Stripe balance. More on key storage and access logs is on the security page.
Which Stripe dispute data we ingest
-
Disputes in every status, with the reason Stripe assigns, such as fraudulent, product_not_received, subscription_canceled, duplicate, credit_not_processed, unrecognized, product_unacceptable and general.
-
Inquiries, which Stripe shows with the status warning_needs_response. Answering these well can stop them from becoming a chargeback.
-
Early fraud warnings, which arrive before a fraud dispute. NoChargeback alerts you so you can decide whether a refund costs less than the chargeback it would prevent.
The raw card network code, for example Visa 10.4 or Mastercard 4837, is read from the dispute's network reason code field and drives which evidence and which reason code guide apply.

1
Step one, create your account
Choose a plan on the pricing page and finish checkout.
-
2
Step two, connect Stripe
Approve the Connect request, or create a restricted key in your Stripe dashboard with the permissions listed above and paste it in.
-
3
Step three, review the first disputes
NoChargeback imports open disputes and recent early fraud warnings and drafts evidence for each. Edit anything, attach extra files and set your alert channels for email or Slack.
How the deadline countdown and submission work
Every Stripe dispute shows the evidence due date and a live countdown. Stripe accepts one final submission per dispute, so NoChargeback keeps the evidence as a draft in Stripe until you or the schedule submits it. On Growth and higher plans automatic submission is on, by default 48 hours before the due date, and you can change that window or switch it off per dispute. On Starter you submit manually with one click from the dispute page.
Plan availability for Stripe
Stripe is available on every plan. Starter connects 1 account, Growth up to 5 across Stripe, Shopify, PayPal and Braintree, Scale up to 20 and Enterprise up to 100. See all integrations.
Does Stripe chargeback protection cover Stripe inquiries?
Yes. Inquiries with the status warning_needs_response are imported like disputes, with evidence drafted and a countdown, so you can answer before they turn into a chargeback.
Can NoChargeback refund or charge my Stripe customers?
No. The connection asks for read access plus write access on disputes only. Refunds, charges, payouts and transfers are never requested, so they are not possible.
Do I need a Stripe developer to set this up?
No. Approving the Connect request takes a few clicks. If you prefer a restricted key, Stripe lets you create one in the dashboard by ticking the permissions listed on this page.
