What Chargeblast offers
Chargeblast focuses on pre dispute alerts. It resells network alert programs such as Verifi CDRN, Visa RDR and Ethoca, so a merchant can refund or resolve a disputed order before it turns into a chargeback. According to third party listings, alerts are priced per alert, about 19 USD for Visa RDR and CDRN and about 29 USD for Ethoca. Representment, the work of fighting disputes that do turn into chargebacks, is priced separately. Prices change, so check the current Chargeblast pricing page before you compare.
Per alert pricing is easy to understand when volume is low. The total moves every month with your alert count, which can make the cost hard to forecast during a busy season.

A cost illustration at list prices
This is an illustration of list prices, not a result. Assumptions: a store gets 50 alerts and 20 disputes a month, 40 of the alerts are Visa RDR or CDRN and 10 are Ethoca.
-
Chargeblast alerts at the quoted third party prices: 40 x 19 USD = 760 USD, plus 10 x 29 USD = 290 USD, so 1,050 USD a month in alert fees.
-
Chargeblast representment for the 20 disputes is priced separately, so it is not included here. Add it from their current price list.
-
NoChargeback Growth covers 50 alerts and 20 disputes inside its limits of 1,000 alerts and 100 disputes. That is 299 USD a month, or 149 USD a month billed yearly.
At these assumptions the alert fees alone are about 1,050 USD against a flat 299 USD or 149 USD. Network alert programs such as Ethoca and Visa RDR run on the Scale plan at $799/mo or $399/mo billed yearly, which is still below 1,050 USD. Your own numbers depend on your alert mix and the prices you are quoted.

When Chargeblast may fit better
-
Your alert volume is very low, a handful a month, and paying per alert costs less than a monthly plan.
-
You want a managed service where another team handles alerts and disputes for you.
-
You only need network alerts and already fight chargebacks in house with your own process.
How to switch from Chargeblast
-
Connect your processor. NoChargeback asks for read access plus dispute evidence permission only and never moves your money. See security.
-
Import open disputes. Every open dispute appears with its reason code, its due date and a drafted evidence pack.
-
Keep alerts running while you switch. Leave your current alert setup active until chargeback alerts and network alerts on NoChargeback are live, then turn off the old enrollment so no alert is missed.

Is NoChargeback cheaper than Chargeblast?
It depends on volume. At very low alert counts per alert pricing can cost less. As alerts grow, a flat plan from $149/mo billed yearly often costs less than per alert fees. Compare with your own monthly alert count.
Does NoChargeback include Ethoca and Visa RDR?
Yes. Network alerts including Ethoca, Verifi CDRN and Visa RDR rules are part of the Scale plan and above, with no per alert fee inside the plan limits.
Can I try NoChargeback before I pay?
Yes. The demo on the home page drafts the evidence for one real dispute once. Connecting a processor and automatic submission need a paid plan.
